CORINNE HEATH brings professional experience in multi media collaborations including
dance, theater, music and computer animation. She has taught in numerous dance
studios across the country. With a B.A. in sociology from Washington University
in St. Louis and an M.A. in Education, she has taught.at Edgewood High School for
six years and at the University of Wisconsin Extension for 15 years. As a Soloist
and Assistant Dance Director, she performed with The Ensemble, an experimental theater
and dance company in Chicago at Hull House. She founded SYNERGY!, an improvisational
company of jazz dancers and jazz musicians. Her work includes collaborations with
Richard Davis, Roscoe Mitchell, Joan Wildman, Les Thimmig and Hans Sturm. Her dances
have appeared in musicals, opera, ballet and jazz events on stage and television.
She produced two videos of historical dances for the American Girl Collection.
Her theater credits include choreography for American Players Theatre and the Milwaukee
Repertory Theater. Her current interest is computer dance animation.
